John 12:3 - Then Mary took a pound of very expensive perfume of pure nard, and she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped His feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
Thank You Lord for hearing our prayers. Your timing is always perfect. You are wonderful and awesome. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
Today's verse we find Mary once again at the feet of Jesus. Three times in the Word we see this woman and her love and devotion to Jesus Christ.
Luke 10:39 - She had a sister named Mary, who seated herself at the Lord’s feet and was continually listening to His teaching.
John 11:32 - When Mary came [to the place] where Jesus was and saw Him, she fell at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”
John 12:3 - Then Mary took a pound of very expensive perfume of pure nard, and she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped His feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
We find Mary sitting at the feet of Jesus. We find her falling at the feet of Jesus. We then find her anointing the feet of Jesus.
Christian, step back from your busy life and honestly ask yourself, where do you find yourself in relation to the feet of Jesus? Don't do that "Christian auto-answer" thing where we know the right answer and say really quick because after all, it is the right thing to say. There's a difference between knowing the right answer and living out that answer. Genuinely ask the Lord to search you and show you where you are today.
Well, this is all for today. Remember you are loved. You are prayed over. You are not alone.
