James 2:15-16 -- Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?
Choose to not only speak the love of God, but show it, give it away every chance you get. Today's verse goes far beyond us giving to those in need. It illustrates just how empty words alone are. Just how empty us hearing God's word is if we don't choose to move into action with it.
Be doers not just hearers. Tell them about Jesus and show them Jesus and in this dark world we live in, that will make someone stop and think maybe there is something to this Jesus person.
