Steadfast?

Psalm 57:7 -- My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast and confident! I will sing, yes, I will sing praises [to You]!

I'm still sick which isn't fun, but God's been so good during these past few days. He's walked with me side by side and has used the Psalms to encourage and embrace me through it. God is amazing as physically I feel terrible, yet my spirit is filled with joy and overflows praises to the Lord! It's one of those weird things that only makes sense in Him.

It's still about choosing to focus on Him, whether the circumstances change or not, He is my still my rock.

Today's verse the word steadfast jumped out at me. In the Hebrew, the word is נָכוֹן or kûn and it means: to be firm, be stable, be fixed, firmly established, be secure, be enduring, be prepared, be settled.

Christian, is your heart steadfast, stable, fixed, established, secured, enduring, prepared, and settled in the Lord? You get to choose where you'll focus in the storm. Choose wisely.

You are loved. You are prayed over. You are not alone.
