John 13:1 -Now before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour had come that He would depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.
Lord thank You for everything. Help me to daily deny self, pick up my cross, and follow You wherever you go. Lord use what's going on at these colleges for Your glory and for the gospel of Jesus Christ to be heard. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
Jesus' public ministry has come to a close and the final hours He has left are spent with His own. His own being of course the disciples. Those He'd chosen, walked with, talked with, lived with, taught, corrected, and loved.
What jumps out to me is how He loves the world (John 3:16) and how He loves His own. A question came to mind, is God's love different for those two groups?
What I find is God's love is the same however, for those who believe and put their faith in Jesus Christ, there is shift from being part of the world, into being one of His own. There is now access to the fullness of His love as you're adopted into His family.
Christian, do you daily walk (in His Word), talk (in prayer), and live (all you do & say) with Jesus?
It's something to urgently think and pray about. When you choose daily to walk, talk, and live with the Lord, His love goes deeper, grows more powerful, not because His love changes, but because He changes You.
You are loved. You are prayed over. You are not alone.
