Cast Out by the Religious into the Presence of Jesus.

John 9:35 -- Jesus heard that they had cast him out, and having found him he said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”

Yesterday we saw the conclusion on the ex-blind man's interaction with the religious leaders. The man had never even laid eyes on Jesus yet stood firm on the simple truth of what He'd done for him, and it rattled the Pharisees. It allowed Jesus to cut to core of their deceived hearts without even physically being there. To the point they cast the man out.

He was cast out by the wooden religious which sent him right into the presence of Jesus! We struggle so much in this life on what others think, how we fit in with different groups, but in the end the only place that really matters is being in God's presence. This led me over to Galatians 1:10.

Galatians 1:10 -- Am I now trying to win the favor and approval of men, or of God? Or am I seeking to please someone? If I were still trying to be popular with men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ.

Christian, it's time for us to take that truth to heart. We cannot seek and worry over pleasing people and think we can still serve and please God.

If we genuinely stand firm for Jesus and the Word of God, we will not be popular with people and that can include religious church people as well. Just remember when you stop trying to please and serve people you can finally, fully embrace pleasing and serving the Lord.

Beloved, be bold and make the choice to stand for Jesus and the Word of God. Be rooted in His simple truth and love. Do it and remember when people reject you, persecute you, and cast you out it, you will be standing in the presence of the one rejected first, The Way, The Truth, The Life, Jesus.

Luke 6:22-23 -- What blessings await you when people hate you and exclude you and mock you and curse you as evil because you follow the Son of Man. When that happens, be happy! Yes, leap for joy! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, their ancestors treated the ancient prophets that same way.

God has worked through the journey this year to change many things in my life. One of the biggest ones has been reconciling the many personas inside myself. Christian Phil. Creative Phil. Commons (other people) Phil. I no longer seek to please people or this world. I only want to follow and serve the Lord. I'm His child, and I follow The Way, Jesus, in and through The Word of God. If that makes me weird or disliked, that's okay.

There was a lot more ground we covered in today's journey with the Lord, but this is what He led me to share today. I ask that you don't take my word on anything, but instead please get into the Bible and let God show you through His Word directly!

You are loved. You are prayed over. You are not alone.
